The longest I have ever run in my life

	I ran 26 miles today.
I feel so great. One of my goals to run a marathon is going to be realized in another month or so.
Things that I have learnt so far from the training program:
1. Set small goals that are realistic.
2. Once the small goals are reached expand ...

I have been planning on proposing to Sarah for quite sometime. We had discussed about getting married earlier and had rough timeline in mind.
I wanted it to be a surprise for her. It is very hard to plan for a surprise. She has ESP. She can tell with about 90% ...

Go Sox!

Flew to Chicago for the weekend. The flight was uneventful.
White Sox won World series after 88 years. People that I met here were excited about the win. There was a celebration parade. Someone asked me whether I flew in for the parade. Funny. I never follow baseball.
	I am staying ...

My run tomorrrow is 23 miles. I am excited about it.
Tomorrow by this time, I would have ran 23 miles at a stretch. It is pretty impressive what the human body could adapt too in a few weeks.

Apple’s big announcement?

Only Apple and Steve Jobs can create a news event around something that they wont tell what it is.
Apple had a difficult time with the itunes phone, working with Motorola as in the cell phone industry products are announced much earlier before their release. Sometimes even 2 years early.

After Effects of 20 Mile run

This run has been the best so far in terms of recovery. I feel great. My muscles are a bit sore. I feel like I have had a good leg work out.
The recovery during the previous runs have been painful.
Today, I feel so much better.

20 Mile Run and finding One dollar Thirty-one cents

	A Marathon training update
As part of the AIDS marathon training program, this weekend was the 20 mile run. My previous 2 long runs had some “after-effects”. I was limping around for 7 days after the run.
The 20 mile run was originally scheduled for last weekend. But due to the ...

I Love You virus scanner in Perl

Back in May of 2000, I was playing around with Win32 API for Active Perl. I hadn’t programmed in Windows before that and it was cool to mess around with Windows internal settings.
Right around that same time, the “I Love You” virus was creating havoc.

Awesome Lunch

I went to a Indian restaurant near Venice Blvd and Motor Ave called Annapoorna. I really enjoyed my lunch. They had a buffet. It is a bit expensive for an Indian buffet at $9.99 per person. But well worth it.
	I strongly recommend it.
